Unique Crochet Stitch: Interlocking Twist (step-by-step)

Unique crochet stitch

Here’s a neat crochet stitch that you’ve probably never seen before! The beautiful 2 color spiral looks complicated, but I’ll let you in on a little secret – it’s made entirely with double treble stitches and chains! On top of that, once you are finished with the setup rows, it’s an easy 2 row repeats from there.

The neat thing about the Crochet Interlocking Twist stitch is that it is double layered. Plus, the back of the work looks just as attractive as the front, so it’s totally reversible. Oh, and did I mention that there’s no changing colors? That’s right! In this stunning stitch pattern, you’ll switch between your two colors without having to change them or fasten off.

This show stopping stitch works well for a myriad of crochet projects. I would use this stitch to crochet a cute throw pillow, a lightweight summer throw, a flirty tank top, or a cozy cowl. What would you use the Crochet Interlocking Twist stitch for? I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
