Tips for Success

Acrylic yarn gives this holder a little flexibility, which helps it fit a variety of standard wine glasses. If you’d like a sturdier finish with less stretch, you can easily substitute a worsted-weight cotton yarn instead.

If you’re making this as a gift, consider matching the yarn color to the recipient’s favorite wine or sports team. Since the project works up quickly, it’s also a fun item to sell at craft fairs or include in gift baskets.
