Materials Needed
Red Heart yarn #4 worsted weight yarn
5mm hook
Yarn needle
Scissors
Written rose pattern
Stitches
Sp- Space
Sk st- Skip Stitch
Sl st- Slip stitch
Ch- Chain
Sc- Single crochet
Dc- Double crochet
V-st- V- Stitch
Special Stitches
V-st- (Dc, ch 2, dc) in same st
Ch 59
Row 1: sc 2nd ch from hook, sc across, turn. (58)
Row 2: Ch 5 (counts as dc, ch 2), sk 2, *v-st, ch 2, sk 2*, repeat *to* across, dc in last st, turn. (18 V-st) (video 1:10)
Row 3: Ch 1, (sc in ch-2 sp, 6 dc in v-st sp) 6x total. (Sc in ch-2 sp, 9 dc in v-st sp) 6x total. (Sc in ch-2 sp, 12 dc in v-st sp) 6x total, sc into the top of your ch-3 st of the previous row. Fasten off
Sewing
Starting on the non-tail end. Begin rolling your crochet strip into a flower shape, while sewing the base of the flower as you roll. See video for help. (video 8:35)
