Crochet Sweater Coat

Crochet Sweater Coat

In this pattern I teach you how to make a Crochet Sweater Coat. If you know how to crochet a granny square then you will be able to make this crochet jacket. The stitches that we will be using in the video are chain stitch and double crochet. The long crochet sweater coat pattern is made in two parts. There is minimal sewing for this pattern.

The materials I picked for this crochet sweater tutorial are Caron One Pound for the main color due to its thicker and stiffer yarn texture. It gave to coat a heavy study feel. For the border I picked Lion Brand Homespun yarn. I loved the way the yarn gave the crochet jacket a fur collar look.

The pictures I provided doesn’t do this pattern justice. Luckily for me, Fabs Haakwerken out did herself. Just check out the picture below. She put hook to yarn and created this a Gothic look. I also have to say she did an amazing job on these pictures! She definitely made this pattern her own. Find more of her work on Instagram & her website
