What is the Dragon Stitch?

I just love this stitch. It looks great on any project. You may have notice that we did this stitch a few months ago HERE.   This stitch pattern looks more complicated than what it truly is. That what makes me love it! People think I spent forever on the stitch but in reality, it’s super simple.

The stitch used are the shell stitch & chains. This pattern does have a 4 row repeat. I suggest stitch markers to not lose your place in the pattern.

*This pattern is extremely stretch due to the structure of the stitch.

*Note: For a more custom fit. Measure around the widest part of your chest, then divide it by 2, minus .5 inches This will be the width of your panels

Chest width / 2 – .5 = Panel width

*note keep track of rows completed, to ensure back panel rows will match. It is very easy to forget what row you are on. It better to keep track than recount your rows.
