Crochet ear warmers are one of my favorite items to make. They are a quick “No-brainer” pattern. Its simple rows of double crochet with a Mobius twist. Anyone can create this simple crochet headband with the additional video tutorial.

We will be using Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick which is a #6 super bulky yarn. This is the perfect yarn for beginners that want to work up a crochet pattern quickly. This super bulky yarn is a perfect blend of durability and softness and has an elegant stitch definition.

Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick #6 super bulky yarn
Twisted Headband Written Pattern
Stitches
Sl st- Slip stitch
Ch- Chain
Hdc- Half double crochet
Dc- Double crochet
Fits a 22-23 inch head
*Note: To adjust to size. Make the starting chain the circumference of the head.
Ch 43, sl st to first ch to make a ring
Round 1: Ch 1, hdc, dc in each st around. Do not join. Twist chain, working underneath the original ch, dc in each st around. Do not join. (86 sts) (video 2:30)
You will be crocheting in a figure 8. Your work will have a twist in it.
Round 2: Dc on top of previous row’s hdc (place st maker). Dc in each st until stitch
marker, hdc, slp st next st. Fasten off. (86 sts)
