Crochet Summer Headband

This crochet summer headband is a part of my 5 Day Scrap Yarn Series where give you 5 patterns for 5 days to bust your stash! We are working on this crochet headband that is perfect for the warmer months.

Just grab any of your scrap yarn, and we can start on this scrap yarn crochet projects. The pattern is worked in single crochets. I tried to keep the stitches as simple as possible.

Crochet headband written pattern

Material

3 skeins Caron simply soft 600 yards

4mm hook

Yarn needle

Stitches

Sl st- Slip Stitch

Sk- Sk Stitch

Ch- Chain

Sc- Single Crochet

Ch 15, sl st to first ch to form a circle.

Round 1: Ch 1, 25 sc into circle, sl st in first st to join.

Round 2: Ch 1, sc in each st around, sl st in first st to join. (25)

Round 3-13: Ch 10, sk 5, sl st next, ch 1, turn, 15 sc in newly formed loop, sl st into base of ch-10, ch 1, turn, sc next 15 sts, sl st into base of ch st, turn. Fasten off when complete

Straps

Attach yarn to end loop. Ch 50, fasten off.

Repeat on the opposite end.
