3D Crochet Headband Tutorial
This is the 3D crochet headband tutorial. The pattern is quick & easy to complete. The cable stitch gives the headband it 3D appearance. My goal is to make a headband that was simple and unique at the same time.

The crochet cable stitch is actually a very simple stitch to create. It’s created by crocheting a layer of half double crochet stitches across the row. Pattern is listed below. I know I have a lot of visual learners therefore I’ve placed the video tutorial at the end of the pattern. Sc- Single Crochet
Hdc- Half Double Crochet
Dc- Double Crochet
Fpdc- Front Post Double Crochet
Bpdc- Back Post Double Crochet
Foundaton Sc- Foundation Single Crochet
Pattern
Row 1: Foundation sc 60, Slp st to join First Foundation Sc
Row 2: Ch 2, Dc in same sp, Dc each st across. Slp st to join
Row 3: Ch 2, (Fpdc, Bpdc) across, Slp st to join
Row 4: Ch8 (counts Dc & ch 5), Sk 3, Sc, turn, 5 Hdc in ch 5 sp, turn, Dc in same sp as slp st, Dc in next 3, (Ch 5, Sk 4, Sc, turn, 5 Hdc in ch 5 sp, turn, Dc in same sp as Sc, Dc in next 3) around. Slp st to join top of ch 3.
Row 5: Ch3 (counts as Dc), Dc in each dc across, Slp St to join.
Row 6: Repeat row 4
Row 7: Ch 2, Dc in same sp, Dc each st across. Slp st to join
Row 8: Ch 2, (Fpdc, Bpdc) across, Slp st to join
Row 9: Ch 1, Sc in same sp, Slp to join. Fasten off
