Unique Crochet Braided Puff Stitch Beanie

The Unique crochet beanie pattern is another fun project to complete. I’ve made these two as  Mommy & me set for my son and I. The  braided puff stitch is pretty simple to create. If you can do a puff stitch & double crochet, then you already have this pattern is the bag. So enjoy this pattern and stay warm this season.

Child 3-5 years old

Row 1: 8 puff stitch, slp st to join

Row 2: (Bp, Puff) same sp, (Dc in st, 2 puff next st,) around. Slp st to join

Row 3:  (Slp st nxt st, Bp, Puff) same sp, 2 Bpdc in dc, (2 Puff in between previous double puff sp, 2 Bpdc in dc) around.

Row 4: (Slp st nxt st, Bp, Puff) same sp, Bpdc in nxt 1, 2 bpdc in dc (2 puff ,Bpdc in nxt 1 dc, 2 bpdc in dc) around. Slp st to join

Row 5: (Slp st nxt st, Bp, Puff) same sp, Bpdc in nxt 2, 2 bpdc in dc (2 puff ,Bpdc in nxt 2 dc, 2 bpdc in dc) around. Slp st to join

Row 6: (Slp st nxt st, Bp, Puff) same sp, Bpdc in nxt 3, 2 bpdc in dc (2 puff ,Bpdc in nxt 3 dc, 2 bpdc in dc) around. Slp st to join

Row 7: (Slp st nxt st, Bp, Puff) same sp, Bpdc in nxt 4, 2 bpdc in dc (2 puff, Bpdc in nxt 4 dc, 2 bpdc in dc) around. Slp st to join

Row 15: Ch 1, Sc same st, Sc in each st around. Slp st to join

Row 16: Ch 2, Dc same st, Dc in each st around. Slp st to join

Row 17-18: Ch2, Fpdc in each Dc around, slp st to join (fasten off 20th row)
