Who doesn’t like quick gratification? This is a realistic crochet baby sneaker pattern.
In this crochet tutorial, I will teach you how to crochet New Balance baby tennis shoes. These little crochet baby sneakers will look great on any little boy or girl.

Worsted weight yarn Lion Brand (A Black, B Grey, C White, D Red)
3mm hook
Tapestry needle

Sc- Single Crochet
Hdc- Half Double Crochet
Dc- Double crochet
Sc2tog- Single crochet together
Dc2tog- Double crochet together
Blsc- Back loop single crochet
Blhdc- Back Loop Half Double crochet
Flsc- Back loop single crochet
Tips: Weave in ends as you go
Sole
Row 1: Color A. Ch 11, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in the next 3 stitches, hdc in next 2 st, dc in next 3 st, 7 dc in last st (turning corner). (Working on the bottom side). dc in next 3 st, hdc in next 2 st, sc 3 st, 4 sc in last st (28 st) slp st to join
Row 2: ch1, sc in same sp, sc in next 8 st, 2 sc in next 6 st, sc in next 9, 2 sc in the next 4 st, slp st to join (38 st)
Row 3: ch 1, sc in the same sp, sc next 8 st, (sc, 2sc)6x, sc in the next 9 st, (sc, 2sc)4x. slp st to join (48 st)
Sides
Row 4: Ch 1 Blhdc in same st, Blhdc in next 2 sts, Bsc next 32 sts, Blhdc next 13 sts, Slp st to join (48) Fasten off
With Color B attach yarn to center back of heel
Row 5: Color B. Ch 1 Hdc in same st, Hdc in next 7 sts, Sc next 32 sts, Hdc next 8 sts, Slp st to join (48) Fasten off
Color Stripe
With Color C attach yarn to back heel. Color C. Complete 48 running slp sts around between color A&B. Stay as close to color B as possible (48) Fasten off
With Color D attach yarn to center heel
Row 6: Color D Ch 1, Sc same st, Sc around, slp st to join (48)
Row 7: Ch 1, Sc same st, Sc next 13, (Dc2tog) 10x, Sc next 14, Slp st to join (38)
Row 8: Ch 1, Sc same st, Sc next 13, Dc, (Dc2tog) 4x, Dc, Sc next 14, Slp st to join (34)
Row 9: Ch 1 Sc same st, Sc next 13, Dc, (Dc2tog) 2x, Dc, Sc next 14, Slp st to join (32)

Markers for toe flap
Working in the center 6 Flsc stitches of the toe area
Row 1: Ch 1, Sc same st, sc next 5 sts
Row 2: Ch1 turn, Sc2tog, sc next 2, Sc2tog
Row 3: Ch 1 turn, (Sc2tog) 2x, fasten off
Heel Tag
Working in the center 3 stitch of back heel
Row 1-3: Ch 1, Sc same st, Sc next 2, turn
Fast off when complete. Fold tag over and sew top edge to shoe.
Tongue
Turn work inside out!
Attach yarn to markers to Row 9 Single crochet sts on outer sides of Dc2tog sts
Foundation Chain: ch 3, slp st into work, ch 3 slp to join
Row 1: Ch 1, 10 Sc across
Row 2-8: Ch 1, turn, Sc same st, Sc next 9
Fasten off when done
Shoe Lace
With Color C ch 25, leave a long tail at each end to lace
