It really is a deep jewel green that I think is set off well by the two lighter shades This granny square reminds me of the fancy design that you would see on a vase.

This wonderful pattern was originally written in French but luckily for us, it has been translated to English by Crochet Between Worlds. Patricia Damême is the original French designer.

This pattern combines the crochet spiral & your typical granny square. I’m almost hypnotized while staring at this nifty little square. As you can see, you can change the look of this square easily by switching up where you do the color change.
I think these unique granny square patterns would look so cool in a blanket design if you started with more colorful squares on one end and slowly faded to less colorful squares on the other end. What a cool effect!
