Why Crochet Berets Are So Trendy And Useful
Crochet berets are more than functional winter accessories; they are pieces of art that make any outfit pop.
My crochet beret can be styled in many ways. This makes it perfect for any occasion, from casual to formal events. This hat allows you to easily combine convenience and fashion, enabling you to keep warm while looking good.
The appeal of a crochet beret stems from the fact that it can suit many fashion styles. It can be worn with a simple turtleneck and jeans combo, or a more fashionable coat, and still look impressive. A beret, as it is round in shape, sits perfectly on the head, thus framing the face. This also draws attention to your features. Because its crochet, its soft, stretchy, and cozy, making it perfectly suited for cold days. The beauty and functionality of crochet berets is why they are an absolute necessity in every winter wardrobe.
Materials Needed for Crocheting a Beret
I’m using Red Heart Super Saver yarn for this project. I enjoy this brand more than the others because they have a good range of colors at an affordable price.
Choosing the right shade can raise the bar for the project, be sure to select shades that match your outfits.
You will also need a crochet hook. For this pattern, I am using a crochet hook size 5 mm, but of course, use the hook that suits your gauge swatch. My favorite is Susan Bates Hook. I will never use anything else. It grabs all the stitches perfectly with its inline head.
