Quick and Easy Crochet Slippers
Who doesn’t love quick and easy crochet slippers? Depending on your crochet speed and size choice, you can have this project done in about an hour. Pattern sizes are women’s 6-11.
Don’t worry the pattern can be easily adjusted for men’s size with some visual adjustments
But you are probably wondering what is the secret to reversible slippers? It’s actually not that big of a secret. It’s the crochet Camel Stitch, also known as the Crochet Knit stitch. One side looks like a knitted stitch and the opposite side is an exquisite texture that I can’t even describe.
For this pattern I am using 2 skeins of Lion Brand Lion’s Pride Woolspun. This is one of my favorite yarns This yarn makes a finished product with great feel and looks beautiful. Every stitch pops while using this on these quick and easy crochet slippers.

Materials
2Lion Brand Lion’s Pride Woolspun (sadly discontinued)
(#5 bulky weight yarn)
Size: Womens’ shoe 6-11
Gauge 5 camel rows = 2 inches
Stitches
Sl st- Slip Stitch
Ch- Chain
Hdc- Half Double Crochet
Specialty Stitches
Camel st – Working into the 3rd loop on the wrong side.
Flcamel- The position of the 3rd loop will be in the front, due to working in back & forth rows.
Round 1: 12 hdc into ring. (Do not sl st to join)Round2: 2 hdc in each st around. (24)
Round 3-17 Size 6-7 skip row 17: Camel st in each st around. (24)
Row 1: Camel st in the next 19 sts, turn
Row 2: Flcamel across, turn. (19)
Row 3: Hdc in each st across, turn. (19)
Row 4-5 Size 8-9: Repeat row 2 & 3
Row 6-7 Size 10-11: Repeat row 2 & 3. Fasten off
Loosely slip st the heel closed.
