Fpdc- Front Post Double Crochet: Yarn over, insert hook from the front side of the work right to left around the post of the indicated stitch on a previous row; yo and pull up a loop (3 lps on hook), yo and draw through two lps (2 lps on hook), yo and draw through two lps (1 lp on hook)

Gauge: Row 1-4 equals 5.5 inches (hat is very stretchy)

*Ch 3 counts as double crochet Ch 4, sl st into the first ch to form a ring or Magic circle.
