I’m absolutely obsessed with the corner to corner crochet technique. Also called C2C, this crochet method is a must learn. Just wait until you see all the wonderful things you can make with these free C2C crochet patterns!
What is C2C crochet? With this technique, you start at one corner of your project and work your way toward the opposite corner, just as the name suggests. The work is built up block by block in diagonal rows. The blocky style lends itself well to pixelized graphics, geometric designs, and abstract shapes too.
If you are wondering how to C2C crochet, then you are in the right place. Any one of these free C2C crochet patterns would be an excellent first project to learn from. It’s one of those techniques that seems really confusing at first, but once it clicks for you then you will be hooked for life. 1. Scrappy Corner to Corner Blanket
Spring cleaning won’t be complete until you thin out your yarn stash a bit. Combine all of your scraps together into a magic ball using an invisible join technique that doesn’t leave you with any extra tails to weave in. The beautiful diagonal lines of the C2C technique are the perfect way to show off all of the different colors.
