Crochet Headband Written Pattern
Stitches
Ch – Chain
Dc – Double Crochet
Fpdc – Front Post Double Crochet
Bpdc – Back Post Double Crochet
Specialty Stitches
Fpdc- Yarn over, insert hook from the front side of the work right to left around the post of the indicated stitch on a previous row;
yo and pull up a loop (3 lps on hook)
yo and draw through two lps (2 lps on hook)
yo and draw through two lps (1 lp on hook)
Bpdc- Yarn over, insert hook from the back side of the work right to left around the post of the indicated stitch on a previous row;
yo and pull up a loop (3 lps on hook)
yo and draw through two lps (2 lps on hook)
yo and draw through two lps (1 lp on hook)
Ch 17
Row 1: Dc in the 2nd ch from hook. Dc in each st across, turn (16 dc)
Row 2: Ch 1, fpdc in each stitch across, turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, bpdc in each st across, turn.
Row 4-6-8-10-12: Repeat row 2
Row 5-7-9-11-13: Repeat row 3
Row 14: Ch 1, bpdc in next 8 sts, turn
Row 15-17-19-21-23-25-27: Ch 1, fpdc across, turn.
Row 16-18-20-22-24-26-28: Ch 1, bpdc across, turn. Fasten off when done.
Attach yarn to corner of unworked 8 dc
Row 1: Ch 1, Bpdc across (8)
Row 2: Ch 1, fpdc in each stitch across, turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, bpdc in each st across, turn.
Row 4-6-8-10-12-14: Repeat row 2
Row 5-7-9-11-13-15: Repeat row 3. Do not fasten off
