The Easiest Free Crochet Purse Pattern

Crochet purse pattern

Here is one of my favorite crochet purse patterns. This bag is completely sturdy, not like other flimsy crochet purse patterns. This crochet purse can stand up on its own. The crochet bag has a flat bottom & the crochet purse straps are simple braids.

This is a great crochet purse pattern for beginners. I use the most basic stitches throughout the purse crochet pattern. If you are looking for new crochet bags and purses tutorial, I release new patterns every week

Special thank you to Lillian Wilburn for helping pattern design. Sorry I forgot to mention you in the video as I promised. I’ll give you a shout out next one

Cut 30 strands 72 inches long (half of each color)

Thread all strands thru ring. Fold strands evenly across ring. With the ring at top, separate your strands into 3 sections. Begin to braid leaving a 4 inch unbraided tail. Tie off braid to prevent unraveling.

Insert 4 inch tail thru 2nd ring. Fold your tail over and sew onto the braid to secure your ring. Wrap extra strand of yarn around the bottom of braid to disguise sewing.
