You will be able to add this open crochet stitch to anyone of your next projects. This would look amazing on a crochet baby blanket or top. The choice is yours.
The Crochet Wheatsheaf stitch features tiny floating cut-outs & arches. It looks like a lacy shell stitch crochet pattern We will be using Double Crochet, Single Crochet & Chain stitches throughout. Don’t worry, it’s easier than it looks.
Crocheting the Wheatsheaf Stitch can be a bit tricky at first, but this tutorial will walk you through it with a and easy to follow video, pictures, and written instructions.
This pattern is written in multiples of 6+1. This can be confusing to some, therefore I’ll give you example stitch counts: 37, 43, 49, 55, 61

How to crochet the Wheatsheaf Stitch
Materials
Any Yarn
Hook
Multiples of 6+1

Ch 31 *you can make this as long as you wish
Row 1: Sc in the second chain from the hook, sc in each st across, turn. (30 sts) (video 0:37)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first st, *ch 3, sk 3 sts, sc next 3 sts, repeat from * until the last 5 sts, ch 3, sk 3 sts, sc last 2 sts, turn. (video 0:48)
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in first st, sk 1 st, 5 dc in ch-3 sp, *sk 1 st, sc next st, sk 1 st, 5 dc in ch-3 sp, repeat from * until last st, sc in last st, turn. (video 2:03)
Row 4: Ch 3, sk first sc & dc st, sc next 3 sts, *ch 3, sk 3 sts, sc next 3 sts, repeat from * until the last 2 sts, ch 2, sk 1 st, sc in last st, turn. (video 3:40)
Row 5: Ch 3 (counts as dc), sk first sc, 2 dc in ch-2 sp, sk 1 st, sc next st, sk 1 st, *5 dc in ch-3 sp, sk 1 st, sc next st, sk 1 st, repeat from * across, 3 dc in last ch-3 sp, turn. (video 5:06)
Row 6: Ch 1, sc in first st, sc next st, *ch 3, sk 3 sts, sc next 3 sts, repeat from * until the last 5 sts, sk 3 sts, sc next st, sc in the top of the ch 3. (video 6:46)
Continue to repeat rows 3-6 until your work reaches the desired length.
