How To Add Beads To Barefoot Sandals
Adding beads can elevate the look of sandals. Turn a simple pattern into boho chic! I just took the beads that were laying in the bottom of my craft box and finally put it to good use
Depending on the beads that you purchase, it can be tricky to attach them to thicker strands of yarn. I’m using a Beader, which is a very thin latch hook. You can also use thread to achieve the same result.
Below is an image of how I applied my beads. You can also what the video tutorial at 8:53 to see how its done.
About The Yarn
For this project, I am using Gloss DK. It is such a light summery yarn. Gloss DK is a luxurious blend of soft merino wool and lustrous silk. Because this fiber blend takes dye very well, Gloss DK features a large spectrum of beautifully saturated colors.
Next-to-skin soft with a velvety texture and sheen, Gloss DK elegantly drapes and shows off stitches from basic stitches to the most intricate of cables with ease.
