Crochet Loafers Video Tutorial

Crochet loafer video tutorial

If you love keeping your tootsies warm, then these crochet loafers will do the trick.  Find some time in your busy day to work up these cozy slippers. This is the best way to keep your feet nice and warm any time of year.

These free crochet shoes will keep your little feet happy.

We’ll be using three crochet stitches that are worked in rounds, then crochet back & forth single crochet to create the top of the loafer. I am using Sugar ‘N Cream cotton yarn, but any #4 worsted weight yarn will do.

Cozy up at home and keep your feet warm with your new slipper pattern.

Assembly
Turn your crochet loafers inside out. Match up the pointiest side of your toe ribbing with the tip of your slipper. Hold the slipper and the toe ribbing together with the ribbed side of the toe ribbing facing the slipper.

We will only be using the inside loops for sewing to make it less noticeable. The inside loop of the slipper will be the back loop and the inside loop of the toe ribbing will be the front loop.

Using the long tail you left when you completed the heel rows, sew together the first 3 sts with the ends of the 3 heel rows.

Continue joining in this same fashion all the way around the toe. End by sewing the final 3 sts of the toe ribbing with the opposite end of the 3 heel rows. Fasten off when done. (Video 21:10)
