My newest free crochet beanie pattern uses basic crochet stitches in new and exciting ways. The result is nothing short of texture-tastic, and it’s oh-so-cozy too. What a knockout combo for a cold-weather essential! This hat is just as fun to crochet as it is to wear, and I can’t wait to share it with you!
The pattern is crocheted from the top down in the round. The only stitches that you need to know are single and double crochet, along with front post single and front post double crochet. A confident crochet beginner should have no problem tackling this pattern, especially since I’ve also included a helpful step-by-step video tutorial.
Yarn Information
If you are looking for the perfect yarn for all your cold-weather accessories, then look no further than Mighty Stitch Worsted Weight. This yarn is 80% acrylic and 20% wool. The touch of wool adds a lot to the softness department, and it also helps trap in your body heat. The best part is that it is machine washable and dryable too!
